I am demanding of the Post Officer an explanation of the delivery at your club of a letter fully addressed to the Royal Society, Burlington House, and I am desired to ask you for an explanation of the fact of a letter addressed to the Treasurer of a club which has been in existence certainly for more than a hundred years, and directed fully to this house as above stated, being accepted and opened at your club. The accident recalls unpleasantly my experience in the matter of two telegrams some months ago.' |
