TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to The Superintendent, Royal Botanic Garden, Calcutta
Date6 August 1909
Description'Dear Sir,
Your letter requesting that the Royal Botanic Gardens Calcutta should be placed on the Royal Society's Exchange List has been received attention, but nothing can be done in the matter until the Library Committee meets after the vacation.
With reference to the missing numbers of the Proceedings and [Philosophical] Transactions [of the Royal Society], I have to say that the expenses of issue are too great to allow of our presenting copies to the Botanic Garden Library - they can however be obtained by purchase through the ordinary channels.'
