TitleCopy letter from John Rose Bradford to Miss M C Stopes, The University, Manchester
Date10 August 1909
DescriptionThe paper by Miss Stopes and Dr Fujii on "Studies on the structure of affinities of cretaceous plants" has been considered by the Royal society but has not been recommended for publication. However, Bradford relays several criticisms which have been made on the paper, which if the a766uthors undertake to amend, the Committee will be prepared to give the paper favourable consideration.
The criticisms include revision of the composition and spelling, condensation of the paper, a reduction in the number of illustrations and finally there should be a mention of the fact that the Royal Society had some share in enabling Miss Stopes to travel to the Far East.
