|Title||Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Messrs Paines, Blyth & Huxtable, 14 St Helen's Place, EC|
|Date||11 August 1909|
|Description||'Dear Sirs, |
I am directed to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of July 30 on the subject of Major Daniels' proposed donation of £100 to the Royal Society's general fund in recognition of the grant made in aid of the expenses of the Ethnographical Expedition to New Guinea, and to say that it will be laid before the President and Council when they meet at the end of October.
I am to express regret that it is not possible to deal with the matter earlier - the Council does not sit during the vacation.'
