Description'Glassworkers' Cataract Enquiry.
Enclosed herewith for Sir William Crooke's information is a copy of a portion of a letter received from Dr G J Burch, FRS [Fellow of the Royal Society] [no enclosure]. In the letter Dr Burch states that the illness which prevented his attending the last meeting of the Cataract Committee has continued and that he now learns that he has to undergo an operation that will under the most favourable circumstances prevent his working for some time.'
