TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir William Crookes, Foreign Secretary of the Royal Society
Date21 September 1909
DescriptionA rather mysterious communication has arrived this morning regarding Miss Wolfe. Harrison has replied to the sender [NLB/41/8], stating that there is no knowledge of any gift given to the Royal Society by Miss Wolfe during her lifetime beyond the £100 in 1906. The Treasurer thinks Crookes should be consulted regarding any bequest to the Royal Society and Royal Institution, as no direct communication has been received.
