The Physics and Chemistry Committee at their last meeting resolved that Mr Mason's paper communicated by you was not suitable for publication by the Royal Society, for reasons of which you are largely cognizant, and that no good object would be served by acceptance of the paper.
The Committee of Papers therefore ordered the return of the MR [manuscript], which is sent in a separate packet.' |
