TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Profesor J [John] H [Henry] Poynting FRS
Date7 April 1910
Description'My dear Poynting,
I enclose Jeans' report and remarks on McLaren's New paper, which are just what I anticipated. I do not see the good of bothering another good man to read it. I am prepared to make a general report to the Committee that it is not suitable either for the Phil[osophical] Trans[actions of the Royal Society] of even for consideration.
He has only a very partial acquaintance with the subject: when the previous Ms [manuscript] came he had little, if any.'
