TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Mrs Manlove
Date15 June 1910
Description'Dear Madam,
I am obliged by your letter of yesterday, but your reply to my enquiries is hardly precise enough to serve as a basis for any investigation here. You say that the opinion of Dr Miles, that your daughter's health had been "undermined" by the conditions under which she worked here, was based upon answers given by her when he enquired as to her work and the room in which she was employed. Her statements must have been of a very serious nature to justify so grave a pronouncement on the part of a responsible medical man; and I must beg you to furnish me with particulars of the statements your daughter made on this subject to the doctor.'
