Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to The Right Honourable Sir James Stirling, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 7 November 1910 |
Description | Dr [Augustus Desire] Waller has been in this morning with the enclosed letter [no enclosures] which he wishes to have considered by the Scientific Relief Committee at the earliest possible moment, because, he says, the circumstances are very pressing. He was informed of the projected meeting of the Committee on 23 November, but he thinks it is desirable that something should be done before then. It is in Stirling's hands to say whether a meeting of the Committee should be summoned for an earlier date. In the meantime Dr Waller is filling up a form of application on the case, which will be sent to Sir Archibald Geikie. |
