DescriptionHis paper on the expansion of mercury can now proceed. asks if four plates can be taken as blocks as recommended. A referee states that the two photographic ones were of no assistance to him in reading the paper. The formulas will have to be written afresh by hand for the printers. It can be 'read' in January, when more time is available.
