| Description | The Expedition which is being organised by the Joint Permanent Eclipse Committee for the observations of the Solar Eclipse next year will consist of: The Reverend Father A L Cortie, Director of the Stoneyhurst College Observatory, Mr McKean, Father Pigot, Director of the Jesuit Observatory at Riversview and possibly Mr Barrachi, Government Astronomer, Melbourne. The party are due to arrive at Sydney on 16 March in the Orient steamer Otway. |
