There is no sign yet of Morley's verbatim report of the Convention, and in the meantime no letter has gone to the Foreign Office about stirring up the Germans, as Sir Joseph Larmor says the full report is needed. Reminds him that the contract with Messrs Harrison & Company for printing the Catalogue expires next month. Likely that until the support of Germany is assured, the Royal Society will not enter into a new contract. |
