As to the 'thermoid' effect, he can calculate at once whether the Chrystal experiments, British Association Report 1876, p. 38-63 would show the effect as given by his formula for the currents he employed Larmor assumed that they would not. In the matter of the thermometry he may wish to send some remarks for the Physics Committee as well as possible giving fuller indications in the paper. |
