|Title||Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to W [William] Bateson FRS|
|Date||26 April 1911|
|Description||'I believe you have already been invited to make an exhibit for the year's Soiree, but I write now to point out that we have only one meeting room demonstration arranged for, and that is no the physical side. Sir Joseph Larmor thinks it a pity that the biologists should not come forward with a little lecture of general interest, and suggests that you might be able to provide one.|
Will you kindly let me know as soon as possible whether you could help in this way, and if so what your subject would be. I think you know that the meeting room demonstrations are generally affairs of about half an hour or less, with lantern or experimental illustrations.'
