Description | Adverting to previous correspondence on the subject of the enquiry into the relation of the African fauna to the maintenance and spread of trypanosome diseases, Harrison informs the Under Secretary that Captain A E Hamerton, one of the members of the Commission will leave Marseilles for Nysaland on board the S S "Ghoorka" on July 14. It is very desirable that some laboratory animals, such as guinea pigs, white rats etc shoulf be taken out to Nysaland by the Commission, and Harrison is directed to ask if HM Secretary of State will obtain permission of the Union Castle Line Company for the shipment.' |
