Description'In reply to your letter of yesterday, your paper on "Radiation in explosions of coal gas in air" is not yet ripe for publication, and I would refer you to Professor Hopkinson, the communicator of the paper, to whom a letter was written on July 6 on the subject of condensing it and omitting some of the illustrations.
If and when the paper is published you will be entitled to free copies.'
