TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Professor A [Arthur] Schuster FRS
Date3 January 1912
Description'In case the enclosed cards puzzle you I send a line to explain that it is a rough and ready method of letting the Chairmen of Sectional Committees know what papers have come in, what action if any has been taken by the Secretaries, and, in the alternative, what advice they desire from the Chairmen.
If you will use the reply cards to confirm or recommend as the cases may require it will simply machinery.
With all god wishes for the New Year.'
