TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Prof Karl Pearson FRS
Date18 January 1912
Description'I write a line at once to say with regard to Mr Snow's paper that the printed notice enclosed with it when it was returned to you may have misled you by its reference to "revision". The form is put in as a matter of routine when a paper is sent away to be returned in any other form, but I admit it should not have been used in this case; it is quite understood that the paper as it stands is withdrawn and that an abstract is to come in its place.'
