Description'In connection with the obituary notice of your late father, which we are now printing, Professor Joly asks me to apply to you for a negative of the portrait which you would like to have reproduced with the biography.
If you will let me have it I will pass it on to an engraver, and let you know what style of portrait we propose to adopt, with any other necessary particulars, before proceedings any further.'
