Description'I am directed by the PResident to say in reply to your letter of the 6th instant that the arrangements in detail for the projected celebrations of the 250th anniversary of the Society are not yet completed, nor have more than a small fraction of replies been received yet to invitations for the appointment of delegates. Until matters are more advanced it will not be possible to furnish you with information of any value, but your letter will be kept under notice.'
