Description'I send one line to let you know that the Observatories Committee has been summoned to meet here on Thursday week, when the papers on the subject of the appointment of another assistant in the Meteorological Department will be submitted to them. If you have anything further to submit on the subject you will no doubt communicate with Sir Joseph Larmor before that date.'
