TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Sir Ray Lankester, KCB, FRS
Date7 March 1912
DescriptionHarrison acknowledges receipt of proof of Sir Ray's paper this morning. Harrison has written to the engravers of the new plate. There are sundry alterations marked against some of the figures in the ext, some of which will necessitate new blocks being made. Harrison asks to know who the engravers are.
Harrison thinks it would perhaps be safer if Sir Ray would return the whole of the first proof, the Royal Society require these, and Harrison thinks they may require to see some of the corrections marker against the text figures.
As to a further revise, Harrison will get a revise of the two last sheets, the rest being practically clean, but will send Sir Ray the complete proof again.
