Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to A [Arnulph] Mallock FRS |
Date | 26 March 1912 |
Description | 'I have to acknowledge your letter of the 22nd (received today) relating to the effect of Power Stations on the Royal Observatory. Sir Joseph Larmor says that the question of a possible removal of the Observatory has been before the Board of Visiters for some years past, but that the difficulties, both scientific and practical, are enormous. However there is no reason why you should not mention the matter at the next meeting of Council, if you like to do so.' |
