TitleCopy letter from Joseph Larmor to Wilson L Fox
Date14 December 1911
Description'I have to acknowledge with regret the receipt on the part of the Royal Society of your notification that the Royal Cornwall Polytechnic Society will terminate their magnetic and meteorological observations at the close of 1912. The sense of the value attached to these observations, especially in recent times of transition in magnetic observatories, has been many times indicated by subsidies from the funds at the disposal of the Royal Society.'
