Description'I am directed to acknowledge your letter of the 19th April and to say in reply & with reference to our letter of March 27th, that a small deputation from the Society will be glad to attend at the India Office on Wednesday next at 12 o'clock, for the purpose of explaining the views of the Society on the subject of the scientific staff of the Meteorological Department in India.'
