TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Sir T W Holderness, KCSI
Date22 April 1912
Description'In connection with the subject of the deputation which has been invited to attend at the India Office on Wednesday (an invitation which I have just written to accept officially) reference has to be made to a report of the Observatories Committee forwarded to the India Office in October 1902, dealing with the general administration of the Indian Meteorological Department. In that report, of which I have only one copy, reference to a memorandum by Sir John - (then Mr) Elliot. this memorandum I cannot find here at all and, if as is probable, it was enclosed in the letter which conveyed the report under reference to the India Office, I should be very greatly obliged to you if you could have a copy made and sent to me before to-morrow afternoon, because the members of our deputation would like to refer to it.'
