| Description | 'With reference to the paper by Dr David Ellis which you recently communicated to the Society, I am requested by the Chairman of the Sectional Committee to enquire if the Author would be willing to condense the paper to about one half its present length. If that were done the paper could then be accepted for publication in the Proceedings. The plate would also require some reduction or condensation to adapt it to the Proceedings size. The four colours figures we should propose to reproduce in black like the rest of the plate.
f the Author is wiling to adopt these suggestions, the MS of the paper shall be returned to him for the purpose.' |
