Description'I am directed by the President and Council of the Royal Society to write and support the application made by Captain McCarrison for facilities to be afforded him for the study of goitre. Captain McCarrison's work in Northern India on this subject has produced results of value and the President and Council think that it desirable that if possible further opportunities for work in this important disease should be given to Captain McCarrison.'
