TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir Bertram Coghill Alan Windle, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date1 July 1912
DescriptionA considerable proportion of Fellows will no doubt wear academic dress at the more ceremonial functions [of the 250th Anniversary of the Royal Society], but the President has expressly said that it is entirely optional. In Windle's case his Pro-Vice-Chancellor's gown would seem to be quite appropriate.
