Title | Copy letter from Joseph Larmor, to Arthur Schuster, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 10 July 1912 |
Description | Sending all he can get about the Irish Academy. Schuster will not regard it as satisfactory, but it is in the Irish manner. Larmor would let it drop and send an application for Edinburgh alone, or preferably discuss is informally before tabling any such application.
P E Shaw's paper has been considered, but it is not considered suitable for 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]', but rather a journal devoted to cognate matters. A short abstract would be accepted for 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]'. |
