DescriptionThe paper by [Adrian John] Brown and F P Worley on 'The influence of temperature on the absorption of water by seeeds of hordeum vulgare in relation to the temperature coedfficient of chemical change' was handed in by Professor Armstrong yesterday. It is estimated to cost £4.10 at ten pages, and four figures at £1.10. A silimar paper by Brown was treated as a physiology paper and published in 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' without being referred.
