| Description | 'I have to thank you for your letter of the 25th instant offering to the Society prints of papers read before the Society by Dr Wollaston.
If you really have no use for these papers I shall be happy to place them with our stock of early numbers of the Transactions; but our need for them is not such as to justify me in depriving you of them if you have any better use for them.
We have a good portrait of Dr Wollaston so that I do not think we need deprive you of the print you mention. I have to thank you, however, for your kind thought of the Society.
I return your list of paper which you may like to keep and remain.' |
