Description | Harrison is now authorised to agree to the proposals Shearer made in his letter of 15 May, after consultation with Mr Wilson, for the publication of Shearer's paper on 'Echinoderm hybrydization' with its illustrations, provided that the cost to the Royal Society should not exceed £150. This arrangements involves the acceptance of Wilson's estimate of £93.10 for the plates, and absolves the Royal Society from any responsibility to the character of the reproduction, even though Wilson's known excellence of work is a sufficient guarantee. There is no objection to folding plates if they are necessary. |
