Title | Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor William Edward Ayrton, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 1 January 1892 |
Description | Rix sends both the originals of Ayrton's figures and some tissue paper plans of their proposed arrangement, and asks that Ayrton let them know if he approves and return the plans and drawings with his response.
He also notes that, if in figure seven Ayrton prefers not to have a break between curves 2 and 3, this can be arranged, provided that they have two folds in the plate rather than one. If he doe not object to the break, it is naturally better to avoid the effort of changing it. |
