TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Miss Louisa Burfield, 62 Ruby Street, Old Kent Road
Date25 March 1891
DescriptionRix asks is Burfield is still without work, as he may have something for her and so asks that she respond within a week. He asks she gives her age, and writes the letter in her own handwriting. Rix further explains that as the Royal Society will be closed from Friday to Wednesday, she should either respond immediately, or wait until Wednesday.

A postscript asks whether he is right in thinking that her elder sister is engaged in work at the Post Office.
