Title | Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to [John William Strutt] Lord Rayleigh, [Royal Society] |
Date | 2 April 1891 |
Description | Rix asks that Rayleigh mark on the list of papers those which are to be read next Thursday, as none were announced at the meeting. It is noted that no papers have arrived during the recess, except for two from the President which are to be read next Thursday. Rix also believes that the paper by William Edward Ayrton and William Edward Sumpner is to be read.
If not inconvenient, Rix asks that Rayleigh telegraphs the papers to be advertised and put into type, for which he encloses a form. He also notes that this letter was originally for Dr Michael Foster, but he decided to send it to Rayleigh instead as the papers are all physcial science papers. |
