|Title||Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Michael Foster, Secretary, Royal Society|
|Date||10 April 1891|
|Description||Rix states that Foster's small committee did not appear after the meeting the previous day. He further notes that they had a long meeting, with Joseph Norman Lockyer's paper deferred until the next time.Rix also encloses a memorial, and asks that Foster signs his name between those of the Treasurer and Lord Rayleigh, and return the document.|
He also sends his hopes that Foster's lumbago, like Rix's sore throat, is easing as time goes on.
