TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Michael Foster, Secretary, Royal Society
Date10 April 1891
DescriptionRix states that Foster's small committee did not appear after the meeting the previous day. He further notes that they had a long meeting, with Joseph Norman Lockyer's paper deferred until the next time.Rix also encloses a memorial, and asks that Foster signs his name between those of the Treasurer and Lord Rayleigh, and return the document.

He also sends his hopes that Foster's lumbago, like Rix's sore throat, is easing as time goes on.
