TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Burrell Fuller, 137 Rucklidge Avenue, Harlesden
Date27 April 1891
DescriptionRix explains that Chapman is away with Russian influenza, and asks if Fuller would come as a 'stopgap'. Chapman's work includes addressing envelopes, keeping the postage account, cataloguing books that come in each day, and assisting in both the office and library. His rate of pay is 30 shillings a week, though the Treasurer will allow 40 shillings for Fuller as it would be temporary employment. If he agrees to these terms, Rix asks that he arrive the next day by 10am.
