TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to John Young Walker MacAlister
Date25 May 1891
DescriptionRix sends by book-post programmes for their conversazioni in June 1889 and 1890, and also suggests that MacAlister contact Mr Young at the Royal Institution for advice, as they hold a show every Friday. He explains that the arrangements for service, provisions and other matters are made by their own people and relatives as 'a sort of family affair', but that the simplest way would be to go to the "Oriental Association" who undertake all necessary arrangements. An alternative, who possibly charges less and prepares the Royal Society's ices and claret cup, is Mr A Dressler.

MacAlister should contact Rix for any further information.
