|Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to John Evans, Treasurer of the Royal Society
|25 May 1891
|Rix has sent to Dr Michael Foster the particulars of the illustrations for Francis Goth and Victor Horsley's Croonian Lecture; he has accepted all suggestions regarding style and mode of reproduction, and also costs, providing that Evans also approves. Rix also seeks Evans' permission to order work on the illustrations to begin, with the cost of blocks due to be 32 pounds, and of plates excluding lettering, to be 57 pounds, giving a total of over 80 pounds. An answer is requested as soon as possible.
