DescriptionRix, on behalf of the Foreign Secretary of the Royal Society, acknowledges safe receipt of the two silver medals struck in honour of Monsieur Stas, and of their communication of 16 May. He explains that one medal will be placed in the Society's cabinet straight away, and the other will be forwarded to Professor Tyndall in accordance with their instructions.
