DescriptionIn response to Abel's letter of 6 May, Foster has been directed to inform him that the President and Council of the Royal Society have appointed Professor William Edward Ayrton, member of the present Council, to represent the Society on the Governing Bocy of the Imperial Instute, and hold office for as long as he remains a member of the Society's Council.
