TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Messrs Drake & Gorham
Date24 June- 15 July 1891
DescriptionRix states, that according to the return they have just supplied, the Royal Society and Society of Antiquaries are charged with 1040 hours for the half year, independent of time spent cleaning and repairing the engine. The daily average that this figures gives, between seven and eight hours, is higher than Rix expected.

He asks if the time includes the coming and returning of the electrician, as he believes the return journey is an unfair basis on which to make a division of working expenses between the two societies.

Includes the statement, divided under the headings 'The Society of Antiquaries to the Royal Society', and 'Electric Lighting Working Expenses', 24 June 1891.
