TitleCopy letter from Theodore E James, to Mr Lindfield
Date15 September 1891
Description'Dear Sir,
I have not yet received your receipt for the Treasurer's cheque which you promised to send on. Had you been in yesterday, I meant to show you a smashed window (upper half) in one of the Library bays. From this window the scaffold poles were run out. We only noticed it on Saty [Saturday] as the blind had been down.
Yrs [Yours] truly
T E James
Clerk RS [Royal Society]'.
