TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr [Robert] Farquharson, [Farquharson, Member of Parliament, Reform Club, Pall Mall]
Date13 March 1891
Description'Summons for next week enclosed.
Dear Sir,
The summons to South Kensington seems to have been quite correct, and the meeting was held as appointed. I think the police were at fault in not being able to direct you, or Capt.Abney [Captain William de Wiveleslie Abney] should have instructed them beforehand. I have sent your note on to Capt Abney.
Yours truly
Herbert Rix
Asst. Sec. RS [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'.
