TitleCopy letter from unknown correspondent, to The Under Secretary of State, Colonial Office
Date1 May 1914
DescriptionA letter which has been received from Sir David Bruce in which he mentions that he expects to arrive at Southampton on about 17 May, and that Captain Watson, who is returning with him, is anxious to apply for a fortnight's leave upon his return to this country. Although it is understood that the granting of such leave to Captain Watson would be an act of grace, it is hoped that the Secretary of State may see his way to making this concession in all the circumstances of the case.
