TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor [William Henry] Young, Fellow of the Royal Society, La Nouette de la Foret, Geneva
Date23 July 1914
DescriptionHarrison had Young's postcard this morning and hastens to assure him that the fact of the Royal Society being in vacation will not delay any paper sent in indefinitely. Progress will depend only on the accessibility of the Chairman of the Committees or other authorities who have power to pass papers. As the despatch of 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]', Harrison sent an instruction to the printers immediately on receipt of Young's complaint on the subject, but did not and do not understand whether he wishes to be reimbursed the nearly two francs he had to pay.
