|Description||With regard to the proposed enquiry into the pathology of swine fever, Harrison informs the secretary that the Committee of the Royal Society has drawn up a provisional scheme for the investigation, under which the expenditure contemplated for the first year amounts to £7500. Harrison gives a breakdown of the costs, and a contingent expenditure of £1500 which will be incurred if the Committee are unable to secure assistance from the Lister Institute. |
The Committee hopes that Surgeon General Sir David Bruce will be able to assume direction of the investigation.
