|'The Standing Orders provide that each Sectional Committee shall hold a meet in January every year, "at which they shall make arrangements for their meetings during the ensuing year, and determine the procedure to be adopted in exercising the control of the Committee over the publication of papers".
The only days available for a meeting next week are Thursday the 28th, either before or after the meeting of the Society, or Friday the 29th, and I should be much obliged if you would let me know if it would be convenient to you to have a meeting of your Committee on either of these days. The only paper for discussion is A J Ewart's which was reported to you yesterday.'
